Nexia New Zealand is pleased to announce that Philip Goodman has been promoted to partner within the Business Advisory team in Christchurch.

Philip’s promotion comes after an interesting career journey. He spent time in the armed forces with two deployments overseas, prior to studying accounting at Canterbury University. Philip believes his unique background and experiences in the armed forces have helped to shape his career to date.

He also has a knack for providing common sense solutions to issues and specialises in working with clients that are targeting rapid growth or looking at buying or selling a business. “I’m passionate about my clients and their ultimate success. I have a desire to see them succeed, and this helps me provide more effective advice,” says Philip.

Amy Murdoch, CEO of Nexia Christchurch, comments, ‘Philip has a pragmatic and engaging nature with his clients and has recently guided many of them through some challenging times. As a full-service firm, it is important that Nexia continues to develop partners of the highest quality, and we believe Philip continues that standard. We are excited by his promotion and look forward to working with him in his new role as Partner.’

As a newly appointed partner, Philip has a new set of goals to achieve as he works to further expand his professional network and his client base. The Partners are confident that Philip will be as successful in achieving these goals, as he has been in his career to date.

Philip’s appointment commenced from 1 April.
