Jacko Gill goes from strength to strength

Jacko Gill has recently given us an update on his European summer athletics season, saying that overall it has been a great success.

He commented on how much he had learnt and the fact it had been “the most amazing time”. He finished 9th in the world for the year, having ranked 22nd at the start. Jacko was able to participate in 10 Competitions in Europe this year (only one the year before) and told us that he believed having the funding to be able to get to more competitions “made all the difference – all thanks to you guys”.  It’s great to know our sponsorship is helping Jacko climb the rankings.

We look forward to updating you on how things go for the upcoming season in New Zealand and Australia in Jacko’s leadup to the Commonwealth Games in April.
