One of Auckland’s leading mid-sized accounting firms has adopted a new name to reflect its global network.
In April 2020 Hayes Knight joined the Nexia International network, the 8th largest international accounting network, to provide clients with stronger national and global connections. From 1 April 2021, Hayes Knight has rebranded to Nexia New Zealand, joining the existing Nexia member firm in Christchurch.
Both Nexia New Zealand firms will remain independently owned and together will be known as Nexia New Zealand, serving clients from three offices located in Albany, Newmarket and Christchurch.
“Our new name clearly portrays our affiliation with the international Nexia network and our global reach,” Auckland Director, Tristan Dean said.

Tristan represents Nexia New Zealand on the Nexia Australia and New Zealand Board.
Nexia Auckland has a team of close to 50 people across both the Albany and Newmarket offices, providing business advisory and tax consulting services, with access to audit and insolvency services via Nexia Christchurch. Nexia Auckland and Christchurch are both leading accounting and advisory firms, with strong reputations across a diverse range of industries including agribusiness, food & hospitality, franchising, medical, property & construction, retail and technology.
