Hayes Knight is delighted to announce the appointment of two new directors and a new associate. Amanda Billington and Shelley-ann Brinkley were appointed associates with the firm in 2014 and have contributed a significant level of expertise to the teams in the Albany and Newmarket offices. These new appointments are a testament to their hard work and achievements. Combined with the three existing directors, they will strengthen the leadership team for 2020 and beyond. The senior management team will be further strengthened by Rod Brown’s appointment to associate. Rod joined Hayes Knight in 2017 and his new role is in recognition of his contribution since then.

Amanda is a member of the Business Services team providing expertise in financial forecasting, restructuring, due diligence, business valuations and KPI reporting. She has over 20 years’ experience in the United Kingdom and New Zealand, working predominantly with small to medium sized business clients across a wide range of industries.

Shelley-ann is part of the North Shore’s only specialist tax team. In addition to advising a broad range of clients, she advises other professional accountants through her work with Knowledge Shop, an educational service designed to keep members up to date with legislative changes. With over 20 years’ experience specialising in tax consulting, she advises clients on property transactions, GST, international tax, tax efficient structures, and business acquisitions and disposals.

Rod is also a key member of Hayes Knight’s Business Services team. Rod has a sound understanding of the internal workings of businesses, thanks largely to commencing his career in the commercial world. His skills include going beyond the numbers to determine what drives a business to be successful. With over 15 years in Chartered Accountancy practices, Rod is passionate about working with clients from a wide variety of industries to assist them in reaching their business and personal financial goals.

All three appointments, alongside a recent announcement regarding Hayes Knight becoming a member of Nexia International, reflect Hayes Knight’s continued commitment to growth.
