Congratulations to the 2025 Nexia Excellence Award Winners

Across Nexia Australia and New Zealand, we once again ran our annual Nexia Excellence Awards, recognising both our firms and individuals who have demonstrated excellence throughout the year.

On behalf of all Partners, Directors and staff across the Nexia Australia and New Zealand network, we would like to congratulate each of our Award winners and thank all nominees for their contributions.

Excellence in Leadership Award

This award recognises individuals who have shown excellence in leadership.

Sam Naylor (Christchurch)
Sam was nominated for his strong leadership capabilities and significant contribution to the growth and success of the Christchurch Audit team. His contributions have not only driven financial success but also fostered a thriving and cohesive team environment in audit, including creating a positive culture which has resulted in a significant reduction in staff turnover.

Growth and Innovation Award

This award recognises individuals who have shown excellence in innovation and business development to highlight the outstanding drive to contribute to the growth of the firm and/or network.

Caitlin Chase (Adelaide)
Caitlin was nominated for her work outside of her normal role. This includes her involvement on several event and innovation-based committees in Adelaide, her continual provision of ‘value add’ recommendation for clients, willingness to attend and present at internal and external events, and her desire to go above and beyond to assist those doing CA subjects.

Community Service Award

This award recognises individuals who have provided outstanding service to their community.

Jasmine Strom (Perth)
Jasmine was nominated for her dedication and effort for Pride WA, volunteering as Treasurer and Board Member but going above and beyond those duties including organising events and encouraging others from Nexia Perth to get involved. All of which is in addition to her role at Nexia.
