BAS Intermediate Accountant – Auckland

Varied duties and responsibilities include:

  • Liaising and building relationships with clients
  • Preparing annual financial statements
  • Tax returns and Tax planning
  • Monthly/quarterly accounts
  • Preparing GST, FBT returns
  • Various Administrative tasks

Candidate requirements:

  • ACA qualified or near your CA qualification
  • At least 2 years NZ CA Business Advisory experience preferably in a second tier or medium sized firm
  • Comfortable operating at an intermediate level within business advisory services
  • Strong level of technical knowledge including tax and financial reporting
  • An individual willing to take ownership and be proactive
  • Potential to develop
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong client management skills and ability to take ownership of the client relationship
  • High level of computer skills essential, with APS experience preferred
  • High level of professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
