 Your next role

 We are currently looking for a BAS accountant to join our growing team in Auckland. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone to continue to work in a CA environment.

Varied duties and responsibilities include:

• Liaising and building relationships with clients
• Preparing annual financial statements
• Tax returns and Tax planning
• Monthly/quarterly accounts
• Preparing GST, FBT returns
• Various Administrative tasks

About you

The successful candidate for this role will possess the following attributes:

• ACA qualified or near your CA qualification
• At least 1 year NZ CA Business Advisory experience preferably in a second tier or medium sized firm
• Comfortable operating at an intermediate level within business advisory services
• Strong level of technical knowledge including tax and financial reporting
• Willing to take ownership and be proactive
• Potential to develop
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong client management skills and ability to take ownership of the client relationship
• High level of computer skills essential
• Demonstrates professionalism and genuine enthusiasm
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
