We’re on the lookout for a driven and capable BAS Intermediate to join our expanding Auckland office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their CA career within a supportive, high-performing team. You’ll gain hands-on experience, develop strong client relationships, and enjoy exposure to a diverse range of industries and businesses. 

Varied duties and responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating directly with clients and building trusted relationships 
  • Preparing annual financial statements  
  • Completing tax returns (GST, FBT, Income Tax) and supporting tax planning 
  • Delivering monthly/quarterly reporting and compliance tasks 
  • Supporting senior team members and contributing to client advisory work 
  • Managing day-to-day admin with an eye for accuracy and detail 

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • CA qualified or close to completion 
  • Minimum 2 years’ NZ experience in a BAS role, ideally with a second-tier or medium sized CA firm 
  • A solid understanding of NZ tax and financial reporting standards 
  • Comfortable taking initiative and responsibility in client work 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships with professionalism 
  • Excellent tech skills and attention to detail 
  • A proactive mindset with a genuine passion for what you do
