Bruce Gemmell joins the Board of Nexia Christchurch as an Independent Director. As a former Managing Partner of a top tier accounting firm, Bruce understands the challenges that come with managing a professional practice in a dynamic environment.
“I’m excited to be appointed to the Board at such an interesting time in the professional services industry. All challenges provide opportunities, and Nexia is well positioned in the market, given its scale, and the range of services it offers.” said Bruce.

He previously held senior leadership roles with EY and KPMG in Wellington and Christchurch and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and the Institute of Directors.
Nexia Christchurch CEO, Amy Murdoch says, “we are fortunate to have someone of Bruce’s calibre join the Nexia Board. His extensive governance expertise will be essential in the execution of our strategy going forward.”
