Our guest speaker, Bruce Cotterill, delivered great insight into how to manage and lead this generation to enhance staff engagement and vastly improve company results.

The Trusts Bill passed its third reading in Parliament on 24 July and is now awaiting royal assent to become an Act of Parliament. This is the final stage of a complete overhaul of New Zealand’s trust law that began more than ten years ago. The Trusts Act makes a number of key changes to existing trust law, so now is time to start thinking about your trust and what this might mean for you.

There was an excellent turnout for the first Christchurch Network event for the year. Kasey Love and the Nexia Associates organised the network and function to build stronger relationships across the city for Associate level Bankers, Lawyers and Accountants.

Well done to our two teams who competed in the 5km and 10km Mud, Sweat and Tears course on Sunday. This course was designed to be challenging, demanded determination and required a sense of fun from those competing. Thankfully it was a beautiful sunny winters day.
