Maxine is an Associate within the business advisory and taxation consulting service areas. Maxine enjoys delivering quality personalised business advisory and taxation support to her clients, her knowledge is wide-ranging, and includes expertise in accounting software, budgeting & forecasting.  Maxine has a keen interest in all matters taxation and enjoys the challenge of devising solutions to her clients tax issues.  She is also part of the taxation consulting team and specialises in tax efficient structuring, advising on complex tax issues and assisting clients with tax planning and asset protection. 

Maxine is community focused, she has a number of charity and education clients and specialises in these industries.  She is also on the board of Dress for Success Christchurch, a local not-for-profit charity that provides women in need within our community with the guidance, support, tools and confidence, to shape their own financial futures. Maxine also likes to spend time playing Hockey with her team mates at the Marist Hockey Club.

Maxine is a Chartered Accountant with more than seven years’ experience.  She graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma in German Language.  Maxine speaks German, having spent a year in Germany before she joined Nexia as a graduate, where she has quickly progressed to Associate.
