Jane is a Business Advisory Partner at Nexia New Zealand. She specialises in Governance, Audit and Assurance, Advisory, Due Diligence and Taxation.

Her sector expertise is wide ranging and includes experience with rest homes and hospitals, health, waterparks, shipping entities, construction and trades, as well as residential and commercial property.

Jane is a people person and a natural communicator, who also happens to be an Accountant. 30 years’ as a Chartered Accountant has taught her the importance of providing clients with easily understood information to translate complex situations.  Her accounting and business advisory experience includes working for the ‘Big 4’ accounting firms, inside corporates, and owning her own practice.

Jane prides herself on never losing sight of the fact her clients are real people, with real lives and the way she approaches their business concerns is with real solutions. To her, accountancy is about strong personal relationships, where clients see her as their first port of call, even if it’s not directly about accounting advice.

Jane is Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). She also sits on the Trans-Tasman Public Practice Advisory Committee for CAANZ. In addition, Jane is Director and Chair of a specialised rest home and hospital for Veterans, Director of a health-related board in Canterbury and a Co-opted Advisor to a large family company and trust.
