Introduction

We are committed to providing a safe working environment and protecting the health and wellbeing of our team members, visitors, clients and community.

In line with this commitment, on 17 January 2022 we implemented a new Vaccination Policy which requires all visitors to our office and attendees at our events to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This also applies to our team members if they wish to work from our offices or client sites.

We believe that vaccination provides the greatest protection against COVID-19, and minimising the risk of exposure to COVID-19 in our workplace is the most responsible way of keeping everyone safe.

What this means for visitors to our office

If you are visiting the Nexia Christchurch office from 17 January 2022, we will send you an email in advance outlining the requirements relating to our Vaccination Policy.

You will be asked to use the COVID-19 tracer app to scan in on arrival, and we will ask you for proof of your vaccination status by showing your My Vaccine Pass.

For anyone who is not fully vaccinated, we are still happy to meet with you offsite, adhering to strict social distancing protocols.

Vaccination register

In order to administer and ensure compliance with this Policy, Nexia is required to compile and maintain a Vaccine Register.

The Vaccine Register, and/or any information contained within it, is:

  • used solely for the purposes of ensuring the health and safety of all staff and other persons who interact with staff and/or attend the workplace
  • stored in a secure manner
  • only to be disclosed to a third party if required by law or with the consent of the staff concerned (for example if a client requests proof of vaccination before allowing them to attend their premises)

We will continue to update and review our policy as the situation around COVID-19 evolves. Up-to-date information can be found on this page.
