BAS Intermediate Accountant – Albany, Auckland

Opportunities exist for BAS intermediates at both our Albany office and at our Newmarket office.

Varied duties and responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with and building relationships with clients
  • Preparing annual financial statements
  • Tax returns and Tax planning
  • Preparing GST, FBT returns
  • Monthly/quarterly accounts
  • Assisting clients with accounting systems

Candidate requirements:

  • Enrolled in either CA or CPA papers
  • At least 12 months NZ CA Business Advisory experience preferably in a second tier or medium sized firm
  • Comfortable operating at an intermediate level within Business Advisory services
  • Strong level of technical knowledge including tax and financial reporting
  • An individual willing to take ownership and be proactive
  • Potential to develop
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High level of professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
